BTY: Pictures of the crib and bedding set that Jon's parents brought up for us. I love the pattern! They also brought up a really cool swing/highchair combo and stroller. Thanks!

Busy Labor Day Weekend
Looking back over our labor day weekend, I'd say we had a pretty busy, eventful weekend. It all started early Friday morning when Jon woke with excruciating pain. We decided to take him to the ER (which I suggest you know were the closest one is before an emergency is) and found out that he had a kidney stone. After a few hours there they sent us home with pain pills and was told he'd probably pass it within the next few hours or days. Let's just say I've never seen Jon in so much pain, and I spent the rest of Friday without leaving his side. He finally passed the stone Saturday morning, and I praise God he's back to normal now. Meanwhile all of this is all going on, Jon's parents were coming up from up to visit over the weekend. Luckily, Jon and I were able to enjoy seeing them and had a wonderful time. With Jon's dad's help we were even able to work on the house some too. We got the kitchen fan to work, installed the over-the-stove microwave, and were able to get some odds and ends around the house too. I'm very thankful for their help and it's great to see the house become more a "home". I hope you all have a great labor day weekend, and hopefully it wasn't as eventful as ours.

Very Cute bedding! We just bought all of our nursery stuff (much to the Shegrin of our parents!) So when it is all put together we will put up some photos too. How exciting, not too much longer to go! Are you getting a 3d ultra sound? We are getting one next week.I can't wait!
The crib is awesome! And the bedding too! I'm so glad you guys were able to enjoy your weekend with the parents. Thanks for the pix.
Mellisa,
Thanks! I wish we could get a 3D ultrasound, but our doc won't write us a script for another ultrasound unless something is wrong with baby, so we'd have to pay out of pocket if we want one. There are cool, from what I've been told. You'll have to post your picture up when you get it.
Yeah, it may just be the scientist in me (Phil) but I have to see what is inside. Plus the baby won't kick for me as often as it does Mel so for coolness we are going in next week. However, I am kind of spooked by the sample pictures.
Jon can relate, our little guy hasn't kicked for him yet. I'm with you though, I'd love to see each month an ultrasound of what's going on inside. I find it very interesting and amazing. Have fun and you must post the ultrasounds! By the way ask if they can switch over into 4D too, I heard that adds more detail where you can even see facial features.
Yeah Melissa's a little mistaken, we are getting the 4D ultrasound. So we will have pics and video up hopefully by the end of the weekend!
A kidney stone huh? Isn't that for old people? j/k. Glad you're back to full health.
